About Me

I've started coding with Visual Basic 6 in 2004, since then it has been my passion. I have moved to C++ in high school and I coded games directly with DirectX API. I've built user interface and game engines from scratch. I also had interest in electronics, so I combined my skills to build wireless circuits with PIC16F84A. Nothing is given to me on silver plates, I find it insolent to expect someone to teach you in this era where you can learn everything on the internet.

MS.C at Informatik Technische Universität München

I completed my masters degree at TUM, while holding a DAAD scolarship. My specialization topic is Networks, Network Security and Distributed Systems.
2014

Computer Engineering Degree at Boğaziçi University

I completed the program with an honor degree, my graduation project was "Disease Gene Identification on FPGA". I pursued an interdisciplinary project for two semesters. I have learned about bioinformatics and gained experience on FPGAs, which enables data-flow computing that is very different from traditional computing.

ItsMySecond is my masterpiece to-date. It allows people to buy a second and immortalize their moments by putting a photo on their second. Each second in a year belongs to one and only one person. Each year the photo&message will be displayed at that precise second to all users in iOS and website.

Lokacion is preparing indoor positioning systems for malls, hospitals and event halls. I was responsible for ingesting mass data to cloud and processing them in batches, to provide behavioral analytics to clients.

Application Server Administrator

Turkcell is the biggest telecommunications company of Turkey, it is also listed in NASDAQ. I was in Infrastructure Operations and it has been a great experience to witness how Turkcell manages its infrastructure. My team suggested server architectures for applications, deployed WebLogic servers and was responsible for optimization of JVMs.

This is my first iOS project, I developed the iOS client as well as the Kiosk for iPad. It is a clone of BellyCard.com where users earn points each time they visit a store, and then can spend their points on gifts/treats using kiosk interface.
